A detail of one of the newer pieces that
I've been making.

a transformed detail of something that i had the
pleasure of making for someone recently.

It's over and it's another
year that I didn't win it.

It's time i posted this up

Been working up some callouses on my
photo editing fingers to make these digital
postcards from the other side.

Winter in Melbourne is long,
maybe not as savage or definite as in other places
but it seeeems long.

At least now we're past the winter solstice
and the sun is setting later.

I say hold up there sun,
hold up there,
and cling to our side of the
 horizon for all you can.

bunker down

this backdrop was sampled
from someones else's
stall at rose street

It can't hurt.

If only i could make things as brilliant as these!

Kaleidoscopic digital  mashes of  some of the
jewelry pieces currently for sale at rose street artists market.

for the love of cars

I like this one because it also
combines my current fascination
with the cross as sculptural object.

my car the star

and finally

cyclists rule

ps. these images are all digital extrapolations of
simpler jewelry....but if you should ever see one for sale
please buy it for me!

I've been unresolved about how to proceed with this blog
for a while now and I'm hoping that I've turned a corner.

Qucik update on the remake.

These pages will no longer directly represent
the things that I make and sell,
primarily at the Rose St. Artists Market every weekend.
To see those you'll have to come to the market.

What this blog will consist of is images and words
that have references to my current work and I think
will more accurately reflect where i'm creatively up to.

I'm hoping it will be a lot more interesting for everyone.

You can still order things through this web site
but generally it isn't as straight forward as
push the button, pay the price and check the post.

It's more, send an email of the
'hey i'd like a piece of timber painted with a doo-dad and ....etc ...'  kind of thing.

ps. I've seriously got the iphoneography bug
